So a little update for you all on the summer.
Last time I wrote, I mentioned the new Fabrika ID as well as the new blog. Well it is almost done. I’ve redesigned some of it to soften the tone. Instead of the mustard orange I am now using gold. Check out the composition right here. I’ve also managed to finally decipher my true tag line (Fabrika) “Visual Assembly” . I also mentioned that I am a terrible developer, well it turns out I’m not that terrible. The new design you saw above has been very easy to implement. There is a fully functional, validated wordpress template for Fabrika 3.0. I am currently working on plugging in all my projects. It will see the light of day latest December 8th.
The new system will allow me to update or display my new projects much quicker with full gallery and video support and a very stable wordpress template. So no more dry spells….
The new Rainmaker Entertainment website has been up since end of July. The whole website captures the true feeling of Rainmaker. We’ve finally completed the logo redesign as well as the style redesign. We are still working on the entire Brand Guidelines and Styleguides. There has been other projects at Rainmaker unfortunately its all top secret
ReBoot.com has been moving and growing steadily since its launch melted the servers. There was so many fans trying to get in to view the comic book “Paradigms Lost” it just couldn’t take it, but we managed to fix the issue within 30 minutes (after midnight). “Paradigms Lost” was written by Jeffrey Campbell, some of you might know him from rip-town. Sorry but you’ve got to sign up to view. Also part 2 has started and 3 panels are being released each Monday so come on back if you like it. The cover was done by yours truly, while the original illustration was done by Shaun Martens.
Pljuga.com development has been moving quickly. We are expecting the alpha to be done half way through october. Beta should be released by the end of the year.
Oh yes and, the PopVox Award-Best Digital Campaign goes to Rainmaker Entertainment and Zeros2Heroes Media, for “A ReBoot Relaunch”. We beat out Assasin’s Creed so that felt really good.
I’m sure there some more stuff that I should mention, but I can’t remember it all, I just wanted to drop a line once again before you see the fancy polished Fabrika Blog.
